TERNA ENERGY is committed to sustainable development and the priority that green energy, in line with Kyoto Protocol, has in achieving a sustainable world. We consider that energy is the key driver for the development of our society and we are committed in building a sustainable energy future for the world by increasing the use of Green Energy, while exploiting relevant business opportunities.

TERNA ENERGY aims to establish a competitive position as an RES IPP and Developer along the RES value chain by increasing installed capacity, building a strong position in a portfolio of technologies maintaining a solid position in wind while expanding in small hydro, solar, geothermal and biomass technologies, and expanding geographically, achieving regional leadership position in South East Europe and Eastern Mediterranean and having a strong international presence.

Expand significantly installed capacity and RES IPP and development experience. See the company’s investment plan.
Consolidate leadership position in South East Europe and expand footprint in Central Europe, the Middle East – North Africa Region and in North and South America. TERNA ENERGY aims to consolidate a leadership position in South East Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean and to increase its presence internationally. Its immediate objectives are to expand in Bulgaria, Romania and Poland, complete construction of wind parks in USA and expand in MENA region by pursuing projects tendered whilst positioning for IPP.
Maintain a diversified portfolio of technologies, achieving a strong position in wind, on shore and off shore, and expanding in solar, hydro, geothermal and biomass.
Exploit the GROUP’s competencies in value creation along the RES value chain achieving experience in areas such as sub-marine energy transmission cable laying, pumped energy storage and combined solar-thermal energy production.
