Electrical Construction Engineer for the Desfina area

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical and electromechanical works at project construction sites.
• Monitor the timely and proper execution of installations in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and technical personnel to ensure the smooth progress of works.
• Monitor construction progress, identify technical issues, delays and potential risks, and contribute to their timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with the required quality standards, technical specifications and applicable regulatory framework.
• Monitor material and equipment requirements and collaborate to ensure their timely availability on site.
• Support work planning and contribute to achieving key project milestones and schedules.
• Monitor project costs and provide updates on cost and schedule performance.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and project updates to the Site Manager and/or Construction Manager.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities, to support effective project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in electrical construction, preferably in Renewable Energy, Energy, Infrastructure or related sectors.
• Previous experience in the construction and delivery of wind and/or solar energy projects will be considered a significant advantage.
• Very good knowledge of electrical installations, construction activities and coordination of site works.
• Experience in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and technical teams.
• Good knowledge of schedule monitoring, project costs, quality requirements and technical documentation.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a high sense of responsibility.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic project environment.
