Lead Electrical Engineer for Renewable Energy Facilities and Substations in Euboea
Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise operation and maintenance activities at renewable energy facilities and substations in Euboea.
Monitor the daily operation of the projects under their responsibility.
Analyse and resolve electrical faults through Root Cause Analysis and propose improvements.
Supervise the required scheduled, predictive and/or corrective maintenance.
Develop guidelines for additional inspections arising from fault analyses.
Coordinate contractors’ and suppliers’ activities and monitor the fulfilment of their contractual obligations.
Ensure the safety of facilities and personnel.
Ensure the proper implementation of Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety Management Systems.
Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders, including technical consultants and local public authorities.
Collaborate with other company departments and divisions, including Permitting, Insurance, Energy Resource Assessment and Construction.
Train newly appointed electricians.
Candidate Profile
University degree in Electrical Engineering.
3 years of experience in maintenance organisation, including planning, scheduling and execution, and in optimising maintenance schedules, with a focus on controlling execution costs and achieving optimal operational performance.
Relevant professional experience in the sector or in a comparable heavy industry environment.
Licence to operate medium- and high-voltage equipment.
Knowledge of protection systems in medium- and high-voltage networks.
Knowledge of data analysis using Data Historian and SCADA systems.
Knowledge of PLC programming languages, SCADA, electrical panel design using EPLAN, and ERP systems such as SAP will be highly valued.
Very good command of technical English, both written and spoken.
